Executive Officer Position

The Muskoka Builders’ Association is looking to appoint an Executive Officer to lead the organization through its next stage of growth and success over the coming year. Based in Bracebridge, Ontario, the Muskoka Builders’ Association is a not for profit, membership driven organization dedicated to excellence in the construction industry in Muskoka. The role of the Muskoka Builders' Association is to provide ongoing support to our membership (presently 110 members and growing) with timely, relevant education, training, and information as driven by their needs and in response to their concerns, as well as to inspire a collaborative culture for business ethics, enhancing the effectiveness and success of the building industry in Muskoka. Reporting to an engaged Board of Directors, the Association is seeking a self‐directed individual who will manage the administrative organization and communication of the Association.

An ideal candidate possesses prior administrative experience in a senior capacity, availability for all hours of operation of the Head Office in Bracebridge as well as monthly evening membership dinner meetings and special events including the Annual Home & Cottage Show. As the primary point of contact for daily member and public inquiries, a confident, friendly demeanor is essential for this role. Previous experience working with trades or in the construction industry would also be an asset.
