Prompt payment and adjudication are coming to construction projects soon. The new changes, which are coming into force on October 1st under the new Construction Act, include a new statutory regime for prompt payment of invoices and a new dispute resolution process (adjudication) for construction disputes.
Given the significance of these changes, we have invited Jeff Scorgie, a construction lawyer from WeirFoulds LLP, to give a short presentation at our November 14 Dinner Meeting.
