MBA Employee Excellence Award
PURPOSE:
To recognize and support the members in our community that are going above and beyond the call of duty. Examples of this can include doing additional certification and training courses that are not required, being a mentor to a new employee, helping someone in need after hours, etc. This award is meant to be inclusive of all MBA members and includes all builders, trades, and supporting employers in our building community!
CRITERIA:
- Must be an MBA member in good standing for over one year.
- Must be nominated by the member company. The member company may nominate 2 employees max. Keeping in mind that not all employees may be recognized.
The guidelines for submitting an employee for nomination are as follows:
- A letter of employment stating the employee has worked for the member company for 3+ years and are employed full-time.
- Three reasons specifying why this employee has gone above and beyond the call of duty. Please be sure to include detailed examples showcasing this employee and explaining to the MBA why they deserve to be recognized.
The Executive Committee will review all applications and select up to five finalists. Finalists will be invited to attend the September 17, 2026, Members meeting/Dinner and awards ceremony, where they will receive their recognition. Attendance at the ceremony is required to receive the award (please notify us if extenuating circumstances arise).
