Background and Core Values

The Muskoka Builders Association was formed in 1987 to unite Builders, Suppliers, Trade Contractors and Service Professionals who are devoted to professionalism in the building industry.

We are guided by the following core values:

Our Mission:

“To continuously support our members by providing timely, relevant education, training, and information driven by their needs and in response to concerns. We inspire a collaborative culture for business ethics, enhancing the effectiveness and success of the building industry in Muskoka.”

Our Goals:

• To promote professionalism of our members
• To build consumer awareness and public trust
• To host networking education and training opportunities
• To become the builder of choice for Muskoka families and businesses
• To provide guidance and advice to government before they enact policies and regulations that affect the growth of the building industry

Board of Directors

The Muskoka Builders’ Association Board of Directors are volunteers from our Member Companies, who meet on a monthly basis to oversee the operations and activities of the Association. The Association also employs an Executive Officer, who is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Association.
