Recently, the MBA was thrilled to assist Community Builders with a workshop during International Day of the Girl: Empowering Girls for an Equal Future at the Muskoka Discovery Centre in Gravenhurst.
This important initiative inspires girls ages 10 to 13 from across Ontario to build their skills, challenge expectations, and explore the many pathways available to them. It was truly inspiring to witness the enthusiasm, teamwork, creativity, and pride displayed by the participants as they completed their builds and proudly took them home.
Events like this are an important investment in the future of the skilled trades industry, helping to spark curiosity, build confidence, and introduce young women to exciting career possibilities.
The future of the skilled trades is bright, and these young girls are a big part of it. This is our future!
